Systems
We work closely with our customers to develop vacuum systems that meet the exacting demands of specific industries. Our philosophy is to build systems based on well-documented, standard components that allow simple and cost-effective maintenance.
Our products are based on two fundamental principles: 'Liquid' and 'Airborne'
Liquid:
This method is used for liquid-based media that may contain impurities that cannot be handled by normal pumps.
Advantages of the liquid principle:
- The media does not come into contact with the pump.
- Self priming.
- Automatic filling and emptying when used in conjuction with a 4-way valve.
Fig. 1 The unit's lifting height H is the distance between the liquid levels. The maximum lift height is determined by the pump's suction pressure, the liquid mass and the barometer level.

Air Born:
By using airflow speed as a motive power, anything can in principle be transported by a vacuum system.
Airborne particles are collected in a cyclone and emptied via a rotary valve or bottom plate.
As the atmospheric pressure does not support a column of liquid, the lift height is theoretically unlimited.
In practice, the limiting factor is pressure loss in the pipe system. We manufacture systems with a transport capacity of up to several hundred metres.
This allows a pump unit to be located outside a workshop building, while stations can be located in the production area itself.
Today, these systems are used to transport different forms of media, including:
- Intestinal tracts in abattories.
- Stones, grit and mud on offshore drilling platforms.
- Fish waste in the fish processing industry.
